Why Do I Always Like Culottes

Culottes has always been on my “Must Have”wardrobe pieces. Even more if they are high waist, I love the pieces that make your waist smaller and stylish. Like I mentioned HERE.

It’s like an instant attraction to choose clothes of these type. I think is call PERSONA STYLE ?

Why Culottes?

Coulottes are loose fitting shorts that look more like a skirt when worn.

During the Victorian Era (mid- to late-nineteenth century) long split skirts were developed for horseback riding so that women could sit astride a man’s saddle rather than riding side-saddle. The term “culottes” was co-opted from the original French definition of the word to describe these split riding skirts. Later, split skirts were developed to provide women more freedom to do activities such as gardening, cleaning, bike riding, etc. and still look like one is wearing a skirt.

My Stylosophy Look

Spring (well at least my Spring looks) have been full of Pastel shades and fresh lines. I bet that also happens to you when you wear repeatedly the same color without even realizing.

In this look I pair the culottes with white fresh top and same shade of sandals and purse.

A uncomplicated look chic, Stylish and Ready to go.
