Valentine’s Day Outfit Ideas

Valentine’s Day it’s just around the corner–I can’t believe it either– looks to me that January went by so fast (for many of you it was the complete opposite). Anyway we are here almost on February 14th. I thought about going shopping in my own closet and re-wearing pieces with which I feel totally comfortable, sexy and most importantly, they reflect my personal style.

El día de San Valentín está a la vuelta de la esquina -tampoco puedo creerlo!- me parece que enero pasó tan rápido (aunque para muchos de ustedes se que fue todo lo contrario). De todos modos estamos aquí, ya casi el 14 de febrero. Esta ocasión pensé en ir de compras en mi propio armario y volver a usar piezas con las que me siento totalmente cómoda, sexy y lo más importante, que reflejen mi estilo personal.

That Midi Skirt

I just can’t deal with the beauty a good midi skirt can do to the body. If you do it correctly can stylize your silhouette beautifully (but if not, it might be something zero favorable) A fairer garment in the upper part in order to give a balance to the body like an hourglass silhouette -you can wear nude pumps too, but the point here was to wear my wedding shoes–

No puedo lidiar con la belleza que una buena falda de midi puede hacerle al cuerpo. Si lo haces correctamente puedes estilizar tu silueta maravillosamente (pero si no, podría ser algo cero favorable). Una prenda más justa en la parte superior para dar un equilibrio al cuerpo para crear ilusión de reloj de arena –también puedes usar zapatillas color nude ó color piel–, pero el punto aquí era usar mis zapatos de boda!

White pleated dress I wore to a wedding in Oaxaca I also wore THIS ONE HERE . I love this particular dress because I think it gives an air of freshness and sensuality without being so revealing.

Vestido blanco plisado que llevé a una boda en Oaxaca, también me puse ESTE. Me encanta este vestido en particular porque creo que da un aire de frescura y sensualidad sin ser tan revelador.

Reformation Jumpsuit

Reformation Jumpsuit, I bought this Reformation Jumpsuit when I lived in San Francisco. I remember it was a sample sale, the store wasn’t even open in the city yet. One of the sexiest pieces I have! As you can see I’m not very sensual in my style… SEE FOR YOURSELF

Este traje de la Reformation lo compré cuando vivía en San Francisco. Recuerdo que era una venta de muestra, la tienda ni siquiera estaba abierta en la ciudad todavía. ¡Una de las piezas más sexys que tengo! Como pueden ver, no soy muy sensual en mi estilo… COMPRUÉBELO USTED MISMO

My Wedding Dress

Your wedding dress? INDEED! I wore this dress for my civil wedding here in San Diego, I remember it was one of my first online purchases little bit more than 8 years (hahaha! I just realized, that makes me sound very old 👵🏻) I still love the dress and the silhouette. That’s the importance of buying with a conscience (good thing I still fit it 🤣)

¿Tu vestido de novia? INDEED! Llevé este vestido para mi boda civil aquí en San Diego, recuerdo que fue una de mis primeras compras en línea hace poco más de 8 años (jajaja! Me acabo de dar cuenta, eso me hace parecer muy vieja 👵🏻) Todavía me encanta el vestido y la silueta. Creo que esa es la importancia de comprar con conciencia (que bueno que aun me queda 🤣)
