Which I love with my whole heart (raise your hand if you’re an auntie).  He amuses me with his personality (note that we live far away from each other) we talk pretty often on FaceTime so he can recognize me when we see each other in person.

He’s started picking up some words in English, & he repeats almost every word you say to him. He loves to “play” the piano and loves, loves music. He also loves working out while my sister-in-law, my brother or my sisters are doing their workout routines (too funny),  Not to mention he’s a  very energetic  two year old boy. To my eyes, he is just an amazing and beautiful little person. As his godmother, I have a responsibility for him like his growth and education. This is the main reason for this blogpost 😁

Turns out that at this age, there is  tremendous brain development. The young brain can change in shape and size in response to everything encountered in the early years of life. From the environment, life experiences, caretakers and relationships can all affect the way the child’s brain circuits are wired.

Synaptic pruning is the process in which unused neurons and neural connections are eliminated to increase efficiency in neural transmissions . ex. Language skills mastery is from birth to before puberty.

Anyways, I just have to say that every time I write a blog post, I love to  dive deep into the topic so I can understand and give my honest feedback and recommendations. If you, just like me, have a nephew or maybe a friends baby which you absolutely love seeing him / her grow.
